POSITION 1:

Chef or Cook / Kitchen Supervisor

5 shifts per week, approximately 38 hours

Currently Tuesday – Saturday  (may change to Sunday to Thursday)

Must be flexible over the 7 days.  6am starts

Casual pay. Consistent hours year round. Must be equally available over school holiday periods.

Opportunity for above award rates for the right person.  Good team working environment.  Weekly Pay.  Super paid monthly.

Duties: 

Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, frittatas, and a variety of other pre-prepared food that is offered for sale in our take-away cabinet as per menu and daily requirements.  Creative input is appreciated.

Food Prep.  Some ordering. Stock rotation.  Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order in the kitchen and food storage areas. Knowledge of food safety standards and making sure we consistently meet them. Some dish washing.

Working with the team in their food preparation jobs. Leaving clear & organised instructions for other staff to complete prep as required. Ability and confidence to guide/instruct other staff as required.

You will be required to help the front staff at various times throughout your shift as business requires.  This will involve taking orders, heating/packaging food, making juices/smoothies, ringing up deli & grocery products, and making coffee.

MUST HAVES:

  • Local / long-term.  Years of hospitality experience. Age 30+
  • Punctual. Well-presented at all times. Positive. Energetic.
  • Excel at multi-tasking. Ability to maintain focus, speed & efficiency through various interruptions. Ability to maintain a clean environment while very busy.
  • Personality and customer service are a must as you will be helping serve out the front.
  • Passionate about food, coffee and service.  Hospitality is your career. You work because you enjoy it and take pride in what you do.
  • You like working in, and contributing, to an organised efficient work environment where there is always something to be done and everyone works to support each other.  You work well with others. You demonstrate awareness, initiative and self-motivation in getting things done, and doing them quickly & efficiently.

POSITION 2:

Barista- All rounder

Option for only 2-3 shifts or 4-5 shifts

Mostly Monday – Friday Shifts (approximately 6am – 2pm or 10am – 5pm (6pm on summer holidays)

Some Saturday/Sunday

Must be flexible over the 7 days. (or 4/5 available days if only doing 2-3 shifts)

Casual pay. Consistent hours year round. Must be equally available over school holiday periods.

Good team working environment.  Weekly Pay.  Super paid on time.

Duties: 

Opening / Closing the shop

Serving customers.  Making coffee, juices, smoothies.

Preparing food such as wraps, sandwiches, paninis.

Juice prep, re-stocking, unpacking deliveries.

MUST HAVES:

Hospitality experience. Coffee Skills.

Great customer service. Energetic, outgoing and happy personality. 

Able to multi task and handle multiple customers at once while keeping calm and focused.

Passionate about food, coffee and service. You work because you enjoy it and take pride in what you do.

You like working in, and contributing, to an organised efficient work environment where there is always something to be done and everyone works to support each other.
